About Shashwat Seva sadan

Shashwat Seva Sadan is a voluntary, non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, established in the year 2009 and operational since 2010. The Society was formed with the objective of contributing to the social, educational, health, and economic development of society, with a special focus on economically weaker sections, rural communities, women, and children.

The organization is based in Begusarai, Bihar, and works primarily at the grassroots level through community-oriented and need-based initiatives. Over the years, Shashwat Seva Sadan has built its work on the principles of service, integrity, inclusiveness, and social responsibility.

Background & Philosophy

Shashwat Seva Sadan was founded with the belief that sustainable social change begins with access to education, health awareness, and skill development. At a time when structured non-profit systems and scholarship opportunities were limited in rural Bihar, the Society stepped forward to address gaps through direct community engagement.

Rather than adopting a project-driven or funding-dependent model, the Society initially focused on voluntary service and locally relevant interventions, responding to real needs identified within communities. This approach helped build trust and long-term relationships with beneficiaries.

Areas of Work

In alignment with its Memorandum of Association, Shashwat Seva Sadan undertakes initiatives across the following key areas:

Education & Learning Support

The Society works to promote access to education for children and youth from economically weaker and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Its initiatives include learning support, talent identification, scholarship-oriented programmes, library facilities, and academic assistance aimed at reducing barriers to education.

Health Awareness & Medical Support

Shashwat Seva Sadan actively promotes preventive healthcare and health awareness in rural and underserved areas. The Society organizes health awareness programmes and camps, with special focus on women and children, and facilitates affordable medical consultation through association with registered medical practitioners for those unable to afford treatment.

Skill Development & Youth Empowerment

To encourage self-reliance and employability, the Society supports skill development initiatives such as computer education, digital literacy, and vocational orientation, including pathways up to technical and ITI-level skill development for economically weaker youth.

Women Empowerment & Social Welfare

The Society places emphasis on women empowerment through health awareness, education support, skill orientation, and community participation. It also undertakes social welfare activities aimed at improving the quality of life of socially and economically weaker sections.

Rural Development & Community Engagement

COVID-19 & Community Support

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Society actively supported community efforts through vaccination awareness, volunteer mobilization, and coordination with local stakeholders. These efforts were carried out with a strong sense of social responsibility and community solidarity.
